A Resource of Abraham Teachings

I love the teachings of Abraham because they are empowering, inspiring and enlightening. After watching one of their DVDs or listening to one of their CDs I always feel like I can do anything! About a year or so ago I made a resource of Abraham's teachings on various subjects to use as a quick reference; I have listed some of it below. It has been incredibly helpful to me in living these teachings out in my daily life and I hope it will do the same for you.

Give insight into your current vibrational state. Dream recall is your physical translation of blocks of the Non-Physical thought you interacted with in the dream state. It’s much easier to refocus your energy after dreaming than after post-manifestation. When you sleep you reemerge back into the Energy of Non-Physical and you have conversations (not in words but in vibrations). As you awaken you translate that block of thought into its physical equivalent.


You are translating your life back to yourself from a framework of insecurity.


Appear that way because what you think and what you feel is always a vibrational match.


How you’re feeling emotionally indicates a preview of coming attractions. Give your attention to what makes you feel good thereby releasing your attention to what makes you feel bad. If what you are feeling doesn’t make you feel good it is of no value to you. When you see something and it makes you feel bad, that’s your guidance telling you that you’re thinking something your Inner being isn’t thinking.

Your emotion, your indictor of vibration, is indicating the ratio between your currently focused desire and any other belief or thought that you hold about the same. Your emotions are always about your relationship with your own desire, and nothing else. Positive emotion is your indictor of allowing. Indicate your connection to Source. The more connected you are the better you feel. The more you pinch it off, the worse you feel and you can’t really pinch it off.


Release the negative emotion, the negative thought and the negative attraction by focusing on what you want. Give your attention to what makes you feel good. If it doesn’t feel good it is not of any value.

If the thought doesn’t feel good, it is leading you to a resistant place where all you consider to be good is, to some degree being pinched off from you. If you feel bad, you’ve locked off your signal, which means everything you want is now being jeopardized. You’re giving up life force, clarity, good health (now and in the future), bodily conditions functioning properly, the mate you’re wanting to attract, dollars flowing into your experience, etc. When you are painfully aware of what you don’t want in life, you are not in alignment with what you do want.

You will never again feel negative emotion and not know it. When you feel bad it means it matters. Find something to feel good about. When you feel negative emotion, anger about something, or fear...the name of the emotion does not matter, it always means that there is a desire within you that, in this moment, you are contradicting with some other thought. Negative emotion is your indictor of resistance.


Acknowledge that the person doing the attack is a disconnected person then acknowledge him as wanting to be connected. The overt behavior is an attempt to try to bring some balance into his experience; he is just not going about it in a way that will help.

Give your full attention to who he really is and what he really wants, that’s the way we stay in a pure positive place because we don’t address the lack of the situation and because we don’t address the lack of the situation, we don’t become those who perpetuate more of it.

If you allow yourself to get disconnected by what you are seeing then you will have no pure positive energy that you can offer to it and you become part of the stream of consciousness that keeps purporting and adding to more of that sort of disconnected behavior.


See the suffering but do not let it take you in. See it long enough to feel the desire erupting within you and then find within you the ability to imagine a better life for them and then exercise the creative beingness that you came to live. You come forth into this physical experience, you see their plight and you say, “That is wrong. That should not be. They deserve more than that. They are beings that deserve wellness, and I wish wellness for them.

Imagine wellness even in the reality of their suffering. And when you can do that, you continue to be the creative God that you are. You open a vortex and you shine the energy that creates worlds into a dark corner where it was previously not allowed. You don’t do it for them because they need you. You do it because it is your true nature and because not doing it makes you feel terrible. And because joining them in a lower vibration takes from you the very Source that is you.


Give your undivided attention to where you want to go and never mind where you’ve been. Stop trying to explain to everyone why you’re standing where you’re standing. Pay attention to the way you feel and when you don’t feel good try to feel better by thinking thoughts that feel better.


The more you spend, the more people benefit and the more people get in on the game and dovetail with you. Your role is to utilize the energy. That’s why you exist. You’re an energy flowing being, a focuser, a perceiver. You’re a Creator.


Ask yourself: What are they thinking? Where is their mind? How are they feeling? They feel invincible, sure, confident. It’s their mood you should pay attention to. What do they know right now?There’s never a particle of uncertainty or anger or belligerence or getting even or blame or doubt or fear. It’s all that other stuff, that knowing, that confidence.


If there’s not as much money in your experience as you want, it means only one thing: The balance of your thought regarding the subject of money is tipping more to the lack of it than to the having of it.

You have only to deliberately and consciously offer more thought towards money than towards the lack of it. Be aware of the financial abundance in your life. You can’t focus on the absence of money and let money in. You can’t have it both ways. Start finding moments that feel like you want to feel and savor them. Believe you will have it, know how you want to use it, know that it is yours to have.


Focus on what you would do with the money. There is not one in a million of you who has enough outlets for that money to flow. You’re asking for millions but you’re only spewing a hundred thousand or so out to the borders of the Universe. In other words there is a tremendous imbalance. You’ve got to blast those Energy dollars out there. In identifying what you would do, you open valves. You create Energy vortexes. You create a funneling sensation that literally sucks, from the boundaries of the Universe, circumstances and events that will satisfy your desire.


You don’t feel anyway about anyone without them helping you to feel that way. It’s really co-creation. Another way of saying it is that if there is someone you don’t like, they don’t like you either. Example: Loving someone with all your heart and them not loving you back. In that example you were offering insecurity, you were offering worry, it wasn’t a pure vibration of love.


There are endless paths that lead to source.

When you say, “I’ve found my path, and you over there on that other path, you’re not on the path,” in that moment of judgment, you’re not on your path either. Don’t push against their path or put them in a position where they must defend their path by condemning yours. Appreciate their path as their method of connecting with Source Energy. There is not one method that is better than the other.

When you answer questions that are not being asked, there’s almost always a backlash because it’s like pushing a noodle – you’re trying to give information that they’re not asking for and it is usually uncomfortable. When you are sensitive and just answering what they are asking for, then things go better.

When someone is complaining, when they’re really struggling with something, which is the time you want to rush in and give them the answer, you’ve got to remember they’re in Step 1 – formulating the question. Let them know you understand their question, a sort of “I know, I’ve been there too.” Don’t take the opportunity to give them answers because they can’t hear answers. When they’re in a more relaxed and allowing phase you’ll have a better opportunity to help them understand. Teach through the power of your example.


Through the power of thought and your intentions you draw those beings to you who are harmonious in intent with you. If your intentions are not clear, then you will attract confusion, but as you are more specifically defining what you want then you will draw those individuals to you that will enhance that. Others who are of different intention need not influence your life experience or be attracted into it.


When you push your rightness toward another who disagrees, no matter how right you are, it causes more pushing against. It isn’t until you stop pushing that any real allowing of what you want can take place. Be clear and focus on what you want. Relax and allow Well-Being to enter the situation.


Figure out if they are sincerely asking. Are they in Step 1 – formulating the question or Step 3 – allowing.

If they’re in Step 1, any answer you give them is going to irritate the life out of them. Nobody who’s in a place where they’re not getting what they want wants to hear you putting it in their face how well your life is going. Say something like “I just got tired of being frustrated and I knew that there had to be a better way, and little by little I found it.” And “It looks to me like you’re doing all right” and “You’re not doing so different that I was doing.” Be real soft about it.

Later on when you’re interacting with them and something is really going well for you and for them, then that’s the time to say, “Isn’t life good? Since I started relaxing more, more good things come to me.” If you’re in a bad feeling place, don’t try to hide it and pretend that you’re in a better feeling place because all you’re doing is pretending something that isn’t, which gives mixed signals to everybody so then nobody can figure out why something is working or is not working.

When you’re feeling extremely well, acknowledge that you are and why. If you’re up close and personal with someone and you’re not in a very good place, don’t hide it. “I’m not in a very good place, and I can feel that I’m not letting the well-being in that would be there and that I’ve experienced on so many other occasions. I can tell it’s time to chill. I’m going to do my best to feel better. I’m going to remove myself from this and not think about it for awhile and see if I can return to who I really am.”

Teach through the power of your example. The reason people have a hard time learning stuff is because people are not teaching through the power of their example – they’re saying one thing when they’re vibrating another. And that’s exactly what you as a teacher are doing when you’re sucked into their problems trying to teach them how to allow. Because you’re not in the vibration of allowing when you are identifying with their problem.

The most important thing about teaching anyone anything is recognizing what is their reception mode – are they in a reception mode or not? If they’re not then save your breath. Try to connect them to their guidance. This is a self-guided tour.


It’s not always necessary to explain where you are coming from because it doesn’t always let you get beyond where you are coming from. If you feel you must explain where you’re coming from either keep it to a minimum OR selectively sift the positive aspects of the past that we want to be present. Be very biased in the projection to anyone in our now about who we are.
Don’t explain anything about what had been that wasn’t something that we want to hold in our now.


If you will give more attention to what is flowing through you toward something, instead of what’s flowing through someone else toward you, things will get better right away.


Seeking the approval of others hinders your joyousness. If the way you feel depends on anything outside of you, you’re in trouble. If you depend only upon your connection with your own Inner Being then everything in your experience falls into alignment.


If something has hurt you and you’re working to forgive it, you are activating it.
Forgiveness is almost exactly the same; in fact we would say IS exactly the same as saying, “I am going to deactivate this thing that’s hurt me.” The reason that it doesn’t go very far and the reason that people struggle so hard with the idea of forgiveness is because they keep digging up the stuff that they don’t want and keeping it active in their vibration so that they have a stream of people they have to forgive. Give forgiveness a new definition. We would say, the ultimate way of forgiving is really forgetting and the ultimate way of forgetting is by remembering something you want to remember.


Concentrate instead upon what you think of them. In other words if you would concentrate upon the appreciation of them rather than upon the wanting of their appreciation of you, your feeling of discomfort would go away instantly.


Remember it’s easier to join the drum-beating of the masses but it’s never pleasant and it will suck the life out of you and will cause you to waste your life experience.


All solutions come from connected people flowing energy, not from people pushing against.

Whatever cause you want to champion, the best way to make it happen is to envision it done, regularly and in great details, when you are feeling good and connected to the stream. Then if you’re to DO something to make it happen, you will be inspired to action from your place of well-being, with the energy that creates worlds propelling you with inspiration.


There’s no state of physical decline or damage that you can not recover from if you wanted to and knew that you could. People talk about miraculous healing. There’s nothing miraculous about it, that’s the natural order of things. Because these healings are rare people think they are miraculous. But that’s the way it’s supposed to be, you’re supposed to thrive. A state of perfect health is simply a state of perfect balance – a state of Energy alignment. The most tangible way to discern this alignment is by making the desire for ease a dominant intention.

When you hold a desire but your belief contradicts that desire you are not in a state of Energy alignment and the fear of discouragement or anger you feel is your indicator of that misalignment. When there’s misalignment of Energy, there’s struggle and tension. When the misalignment stops, a feeling of relief or ease ensues.

When Energies are in alignment, inspiration as to food, action, motion, exercise, supplementation and all else will fall into perfect alignment. If you dos not take the time to align Energies, there is not enough medication, exercise, or action to make any difference. If you take the time to the Energy perfect action is always inspired. You must be fixated on the flow to heal. Jesus didn’t see what was broken. Give your undivided attention to what you want. Expect wellness rather than illness.


Deep breathing is the current that carries the vitality to the extremities of the cells. It’s the way life moves most efficiently though your physical body.

When concentrating on your breathing, you are not concentrating on other things. And in that absence of resistance, you are also allowing an alignment of Energy. You are literally feeding the cells of your body, allowing oxygen to reach the extremities of your cells. Everybody comes alive – and everything works better. Metabolism works better, elimination works better, clarity works better, and blood flows better. Thriving comes from this.


You could stand here sick with ten illnesses today, and tomorrow have no evidence of any of them. Your body has the ability to replenish itself that fast. But most of you do not have the ability to change your thoughts that fast.

The amount of time it takes between sickness and wellness is only the amount of time that it takes for me to figure out how to let it in – for me to figure out how to feel good, when I’m looking at something that makes me feel bad.


The very best approach to medicine is “Well I see your physical body is sick, what’s been bothering you?”
What are you worried about?
What are you angry about?
What are you frustrated about?
That is what is at the root of all this. Then say “Let it go, let it go.” If you can do that all will be well right away.


Worrying is using your imagination to create something you don’t want. Never mind what anyone else is doing or thinking. Stop facing reality. Keep reminding yourself, “I’m on my way, I’m a work in progress. Start delegating your requests to the Universal Manager. Be the visionary and then get out of your own way. Abraham finds it funny that we fret over the timing of something unfolding because they see the vividness of it and the bigness of it and the power of it and wonder why we worry about anything. Does worrying serve us?

Make a decision to do something else if you start to worry. I’m going to catch myself in the act of worry and I’m going to laugh about it. I’m going to laugh my worry away. I’m going to catch myself in the act of not enoughness and I am going to laugh my feeling of not enoughness away.

Take the two subjects of worry and not enoughness and make a decision that you’re going to laugh them away and you will be amazed at how often those two subjects will rise within you in a day and you’ll have the option to turn downstream. And a week from today, things that looked far and distant and even impossible will be realities in your experience.


On speeding up results – What’s the big hurry? You’re never going to get it all done. Every single activity that you’re involved in is for one purpose only and that’s to give you a moment of joy. That’s what it’s all for. Lighten up. All things are happening in perfect order. If you will relax and begin saying, “Everything in its perfect time. Everything is unfolding. I’m enjoying where I am now in relationship to where I’m going, content where I am and eager for more.” That is the perfect vibrational stance. When you look for instant manifestation you’re convinced you’re not making progress but 99.9% of it is in place before you receive evidence of it. You can be well along the way but then observe where you are and go back. Stay focused on where you want to be.

Action journey is the hard way. Emotional journey (attitude & mood) is everything. The way you feel is everything. You have more control there; you can soften your thoughts while you work at other things for now. We promise you will get what you want. What you want is never upstream. Turn and keep going in the direction of feeling better.

Complaining about anything holds you in the place of refusing to receive the things you’ve been asking for. Justifying about anything holds you in the place of refusing to let in the very things that you’ve been asking for. Blaming someone holds you in the place of refusing to let in the things that you’ve been asking for. Feeling guilty, feeling angry, it doesn’t matter what you call it, it is a refusal, not a conscious one.

You’re asking; you can’t help but ask. The Universe is yielding; it must yield. Why aren’t you letting it in? Find a way to feel better first then the manifestation will happen.


If the idea of flowing love to the “worst” areas doesn’t lower your vibe, if it makes you more joyful, more empowered, more loving, then by all means do it. If it pisses you off, makes you smaller, diminishes you, and you’re fighting back in resentment and’s probably not serving you or it. Nothing is broken, nothing needs to be fixed.


The larger part of you is already realizing your dream in non-physical .


When you say, “My time will come” you turn downstream. When you say “I missed my chance” you turn upstream. When you tell a downstream story you are closing the gap. When you say “I missed it” you widen the gap. When you say “I look forward to more”, you close the gap.


There’s always enough time. There are lots of people who became a success later in life. You can’t compare what will happen now with any other time because you have never cleaned up your vibration before. See through Abraham’s eyes for awhile. We cannot see you not achieving what you are looking for. We see it happening. It will happen. How soon will you allow it?

Tell yourself, “This time is different because I can feel my guidance. I am moving toward it.”
Reacquaint yourself with the scent and feel of your dream and something will break loose quickly and you will say “I thought it would be harder.”


If you want someone to get honest, what is activated in your vibration is that he is not. You cannot perceive them as dishonest and help them toward honesty.


The vibration that created childhood issues is now creating today’s issues. Deal with it in your now.


Your Inner Being is there. For every single thing you want, there are 20, 30 or 40 available avenues to open right now to lead you closer to what you want. Right now, they’re ready to pop with you just turning downstream. But the problem with being turned upstream is you’ve got the upstream habit and you’ve got to develop the downstream habit.

When you start developing the downstream habit, people are going to say, “What have you done? It’s like all that stuff was lined up outside your door. How’d you get the door open? Avalanches of things you’ve been wanting just begin coming into your experience.

And you say:
Well, I just stopped worrying about it not happening and it started happening. I just started playing the positive what if game, instead of the negative what if game. I just started feeling more optimistic and not so pessimistic. I praised more and criticized less. I stopped beating up on myself and loved myself more. I looked for reasons to feel good. I breathed deeply and took walks. I said thank you, thank you, thank you...

Get in the mindset of appreciation of all the magnificent things that “are” working for me. And when I activated that, then everything started working for me. Say “I allow my vibrational escrow to appear now. I want it – I expect it – I allow it!!!


When someone does something that disappoints you, ask yourself “What is it he/she really wants?” He/she wants to feel better. That’s always the motive for everything – he/she wants to feel better.


The reason you come forth is because there is so much excitement, and so much stimulation, in getting to mold the energy.

Example: Get some really bright, gooey, colorful clay, lots of different colors and put them in clumps on a table and invite a bunch of children in and have them sit in the corner and watch you play with the clay. Say to them “I don’t want you to play. I want you to watch me play. I am the creator of this stuff, you just sit over there.” They want so much to get their hands in the clay! And that’s the way you felt as you came forth into these physical experiences.

You said “I like this contrast that’s going to cause me to focus.” You understood that the way you create is through the focusing, through the choosing. So, it’s through the choosing and feeling, choosing and feeling, choosing and feeling that you create.


I will move you around in my mind until it feels good.


Children – Guide them toward the knowing that they are Source Energy in a physical body. Show them the example of downstream thoughts (Which thought feels better?). When you take the place of your children’s guidance and tell them what to do, they lose sight of their internal knowing and look outside themselves.

General – Offer praise, not blame. Appreciate rather than criticize. Love them, don’t doubt them. Look for the benefit in all you do. Make it your dominant intent to look for what you want to see.


Say “When you don’t feel good, I don’t feel good. So I’m going off to realign myself.” You cannot blame someone into realignment – you love them into realignment. No one in alignment does bad things. When you are in alignment, you are thriving and vital. You close the gap one better feeling thought at a time. Look for thoughts that feel better. You will feel better, things will get easier and stuff will come to you. You will feel like a different person.


As you focus on what is, you push it into your future. Don’t push against it. Make an effort to find positive aspects in where you are. That changes your future experience for the better.


The fact that it feels better means you are moving and that’s enough. Make peace with where you are. Until you do, you cannot float downstream. As long as you’re beating up on yourself even a little about where you are, that’s upstream.


It is the feeling sensation present when you have both a desire and a belief that contradicts it.
Fear means the presence of resistance which means not allowing the Energy of desire to flow through you without exception. Same with confusion, vulnerability, anger, unworthiness, guilt. All negative emotions mean the same thing.

You will never be at a place where you won’t feel negative emotion nor would we ever want you to be at that place; that would be like shooting Novocain into your fingers so you don’t feel anything hot or sharp.


You have the option of observing things as they are, or of imagining them as you want them to be – whichever option you choose, your thoughts produce a vibration within you that equals your point of attraction, and then circumstances and events line up to match the vibrations that you’ve offered. There is nothing in your future that is happening for any reason other than the mix of vibrations that you hold.


Is nothing more than your physical realization that you are acting too soon – that some mental alignment is in order. Is not a bad thing. It’s the realization that the Universe has not yet sufficiently aligned the Energy.


When you are justifying you are always resisting Source Energy. Is always lack based without exception. The fastest way to get to a place where you don’t feel like you have to justify your actions to someone else, is by not doing that to them.


Get out there with all the renegades. Get out there where they’re doing all kinds of stuff and we would work on developing an attitude that goes something like this: “Well, look at that! And that! And that!”

Whether it is someone spitting on the sidewalk or robbing the liquor store or dropping a bomb on a neighboring country, we would say “Look at that!” The attitude being – “Well, look what these are choosing to do that has NOTHING to do with me!” As you finally get that it really has nothing to do with you – aahh – then your cork floats and you can move about and then you can start enjoying their individuality.

The majority of those that for many reasons you disapprove of or do not find compatibility – from your broader perspective, if you would allow it and as you would get to know them, you would find them to be the most satisfying, intoxicating, intriguing, provoking, life-giving relationships.

As you just leave behind just a little bit that feeling – that in their different choice of behavior they are jeopardizing the good of the whole – and instead say, in their different behavior they are adding to the whole in their unique way. And while it may be a way I might not choose, and while I would not put that on my plate. I applaud them and I bless them in the choosing. Liberation beyond your wildest creams in that acknowledgement!


If you could never again think about your body and instead just think pleasant thoughts – your body would reclaim its place of well-being. Your body is not to be feared. It is not vulnerable or fragile. Your body is to be revered. It is resilient and flexible. You have the ability to come into alignment again and again and again and if anyone in the Universe understands that, it’s the cells of your body.

Befriending your body is the only way we know of coming to understand that your body is resilient and that it knows what to do, and that it will be whatever you ask it to be. But you have to ask it to be that in a place of nonresistance. Love your body and then lovingly give it the food. When you do this it matters not what food you give it. Is responding purely to the balance of the thoughts that you offer. Is like an electrical circuit board.


It does not matter what you eat it only matters how you feel when you eat it. You could eat dirt, we don’t know why any of you would want to, or candy, or any number of things that you have convinced yourself you should not eat, and if you were doing it in a vibration of “letting it in”, your body would figure out how to make good use of whatever you are consuming.

On the other hand, you could eat the most nutritious of foods by the standards that have been set by your world at large, and if you are uncomfortable with yourself while you are doing it, the best of that which they call “the best” would not nurture you at all because you’re not letting it in. Remember it’s all about how you feel while you’re doing it.


Your body is doing all kinds of things to bring itself into balance. Your body is so masterful – the cells of your body are like psychic surgeons, they know what to do. Relax and allow the natural rhythms of your body to take care of you. You are in such good hands if you allow it. But in your worry you are not allowing.

Your body is like an electrical circuit board. Your brain is not the only thinking mechanism in your body. Every cell has a brain, millions of them. The cells of your body have been pre-programmed, pre-paved, pre-intended to maintain the continuity of your body. The cells of your body as individuals, actually know their function within your body much better than most of you know your function within your physical arena. All cells do not do the same thing, each cell knows exactly what its purpose and function is.

The cells vibrationally communicate, they electrically communicate with each other and with their Non-Physical source. The cells vibrationally ask for what they need to maintain the continuity of your body, and the Non-Physical answers them.
